Random

Sometime last year Paige (my sister) told me to write six random facts about myself.  These are not entirely about myself, but they are random and do pertain to my life.

1. I am one of 9 siblings.  Not a shocker for most of you, but it’s always a good conversation starter anyway.

2. I sometimes forget how many siblings I have and then have to count them starting with the oldest and naming them off down to the youngest… and yes, fingers are sometimes utilized.

3. I can never remember how old my siblings are when asked by friends or family.  I simply take my best guess with a phony expression of certainty and hope they don’t know better than I.  To my credit, I have on occasion referred to my driver’s license to remember my own age.

4. I do remember all of my siblings names – even middle names!

5. I can easily spend fun quality time with all of my siblings… with Tara, Paige and Piper there’s always shopping (which we all three enjoy very much) or a competitive game of nertz.  With Hutton and Racer there’s always the uplifting and team building exercise we like to call team deathmatch.  As for Aspen, Taffi and Libbi… lets just say we managed to get gum stuck in Aspen’s hair the other day through a combination of running, laughing and sliding face first across the living room.

6. I had to count all of the siblings mentioned in the previous paragraph to make sure I didn’t miss anyone… Also, I’m not quite certain I spelled Taffi’s and Libbi’s names correctly… so, mom, let me know if I didn’t and I’ll make a mental note for myself.

I’ll do my best to post more consistently in the future.
